The February update from The Allen Valleys Folk Festival
Hello from the beautiful Allen Valleys. We hope you are well and have had a good start to 2026.
The plaintive ‘courl-eee’ call of the curlew returning to Northumberland’s uplands can now be heard locally. It is the first sign that spring is on the way for many of us hill-folk.
Dates for the 2026 Allen Valleys Folk Festival
Have you got your diary to hand? The dates for this year’s Allen Valleys Folk Festival are Friday 25th September, Saturday 26th September and Sunday 27th September 2026.
Ticket sale of festival weekend passes
We have organised a local sale of festival weekend passes for the morning of Saturday 21st March at St. Cuthbert’s Church Hall in Allendale between 10:00am and 12:00noon.
We will be selling adult festival weekend passes and youth festival weekend passes, for those aged between 12 years and 24 years.
There will also be festival weekend passes on sale from 7:00pm on the evening of Sunday 22nd March online via Gigantic Tickets. The payment by instalments scheme will be available online again this year.
